Document Description
The subject property consists of a two parcels of land, encompassing ~ 90 acres more or less, commonly referred to as APNs: 405-120-10 and 406-010-05. The parcels are contiguous to trust lands.
Currently, the subject property is vacant. The Tribe's overall purpose is to provide increased long-term socio-economic security for the Viejas Band through land consolidation to enhance self-determination. The Tribe may use the parcels in the future to provide housing for tribal members and to support tribal community preservation as is more thoroughly discussed in the Environmental Assessment.
