Project consists of repair, maintenance, and minor alteration of existing public structures involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency's determination; installation of small new equipment and facilities in small structures; minor public alterations in the condition of land, water, and/or vegetation which do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees; and construction and placement of minor structures accessory to (appurtenant to) existing facilities included as "modification of existing facilities for handicap access" in the Department of Parks and Recreation's list of exempt activities in accordance with CCR section 15300.4.
