Document Description
Pier Avenue and Ramp, Pier Parking lot and Restroom Facility are areas located on the fore dunes of the beach. This location experiences ongoing changing dune topography due to the strong onshore winds. To maintain parking, roadways and street lighting, sand movement by manual labor and heavy equipemnt is required. Sand movement is also needed to provide safe conditions for the public and park staff in this location. Sand will be moved in 50 yard increments using heavy equipment.
