- This action authorizes final design to replace the sand trap equipment located upstream of the Iron Mountain, Eagle Mountain, and Hinds Pumping Plants along the Colorado River Aqueduct (CRA). Planned improvements to the sand traps include replacement of traveling bridge and control cabin equipment including the pump apparatus, electrical equipment, bridge rails, and chain link fence around the perimeter of the sand traps.
