The grinding study is to determine the maximum particle size that will not sustain viable Goldspotted Oak Borer (GSOB). To support this study, the project consists in two operations - transporting oak wood that is actively infested with Goldspotted Oak Borer and grinding the log wood into different particle size through a tub grinder (1, 3 and 9 inch particle sizes).
