Document Description
The project will fund a study of the technical, economic, and environmental feasibility of designing and building an Advanced Bioenergy Center Mendota capable of converting sugar beets and agricultural waste into fertilizer, electricity, ethanol, and biomethane. The studies will take place in labs on the UC Davis campus and will upgrade the pilot digester at the existing Davis Wastewater Treatment Plant.
