The project would result in construction and operation of two new tennis courts, a practice court and an underground cold water supply pipeline in the existing Richard Rious Memorial Park. The purpose of the project would be to improve recreational opportunities of the park. Beneficiaries of the tennis courts would be existing park users from the surrounding community such as Stevenson Ranch and Santa Clarita.

The project includes features to prevent or minimize environmental impacts during construction.
