- The San Diego Unified School District proposes several project components within existing school campuses to prevent the potential mixing of K-2 and 3rd-5th grade students on a stairway during an emergency exit. This exemption applies to actions taken at the following schools: Balboa Elementary, Boone Elementary, Chavez Elementary, Cherokee Point Elementary, Fay Elementary, Golden Hills Elementary, Jefferson Elementary, Joyner Elementary, Miramar Ranch Elementary, Rosa Parks Elementary, Sherman Elementary, Vista Grande Elementary, and Washington Elementary School.

The project does not have the potential to trigger any of the exceptions identified in CEQA Guidelines Section 15300.2.
