- Project is limited implementation of site specific erosion control measures to protect and improve salmonid spawning and rearing habitat for Chinook and coho salmon, and steelhead trout in a selected section of Root Creek. Also, decommission 6.5 miles of road and 44 sites thereby saving approximately 11,200 cubic yards of sediment from delivery to Root Creek. Decommission 31 stream crossings; treat 7 potential or existing fill slope landslides, 5 springs and one ditch relief culvert.
