Document Description
The wetland mitigation site will restore 0.10 acres of existing wetlands and create 0.02 acres fo wetlands. Work activities include dewatering and then excavation of up to 2 feet of soil, adding a 3-inch thick layer of bentonite and then a 6-12 inch thick layer of soil, anew water control structure, and cattle exclusion fencing. The pond mitigation site will restore approx. 0.5 acres of existing wetlands and create 0.01 acres of wetland habitat. Work activities include excavation of 1,500 sq. ft., bentonite will be laid 3 inches thick and then covered with 6-12 inches of soil, replacement of a water control structure and energy dissipaters, excavation of a 2 foot wide ditch and installation of energy dissipaters, and cattle exclusion fencing. CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2016-0140-R3, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, enter Santa Clara Valley Habitat Agency, as represented by Edmund Sullivan.
