Document Description
The proposed project is to restore a degraded reach of Agua Fria Creek, primarily using natural geomorphic and biotechnical engineering techniques. The proposed restoration project involves approximately 900 linear feet of channel reconstruction to restabilize the channel bed and banks. Approximately 1,850 cubic yards of material will be excavated to form a new channel. Of this material, approximately 400 cubic yards of material will be replaced within the channel. A 150 foot section of creek will be armored with rip rap and subsequently revegetated. Agua Fria Creek is located east of Mission Boulevard between I-680 and Briar Place in the Warm Springs District of Fremont, California.
