Document Description
The State's wildlife conservation policy contains, among other things, an objective of providing sport hunting use of selected species where such use is consistent with sustainable wildlife populations. The project being considered is a proposal to modify the current hunting regulations as an element of waterfowl, coot, moorhen, and common snipe management. The objectives of the proposal are to maintain viable waterfowl, coot, moorhen, and common snipe populations and to provide sport hunting opportunities through regulated harvest.
