Document Description
The proposed project is a Master Plan describing mixed-use development on ~50.6 acres. The proposed Master Plan includes provisions supporting the development of residential and commercial uses, including various densities of residential development, senior housing, retail and office uses, and integration of the BART station into a cohesive mixed-use development plan. Current surface parking is proposed to be relocated to parking structures, allowing for urban development of the remainder of the project area. The western half of the project would likely be developed as multi-family housing by the current property owner, West Coast Home builders. In addition to typical residential and commercial land uses, the proposed Master Plan includes "flex" uses that may be developed as residential, retail, office, or quasi-public uses depending on market pressures at the time of development. Included in some locations would be ground-floor retail uses, co-located with flex uses.
