Document Description
Modesto Irrigation District (MID) proposes to enter into a Large Generator Interconnection Agreement (LGIA) with Solar Star California VII, LLC (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the SunPower Corporation). As part of the Project, MID is proposing to construct, own, and operate a switching station in a new switchyard to be located on the project site, as well as a new overhead 69-kilovolt (kV) sub-transmission line and 12-kV distribution line that would interconnect the proposed solar facility to the existing MID electric system. The project would operate year-round, generating electricity during daylight hours.
