The scope of work consists of constructing a retaining wall and a geosynthetic reinforced (GRE) slope. The project would also include replacing metal beam guardrail (MBGR), improving drainage systems (including replacing the culverts at postmiles (PM) 70.55 and 70.65), relocating overhead utilities, realigning the roadway, and rebuilding the structural section. An existing private driveway near PM 70.65 would be replaced with a pull-out.
