Document Description
The CA Dept. of Public Health as the lead agency will be issuing a water supply permit. The Fontana Water Company (FWC) proposes to install a new well, Well F-54, to replace Well F41A. The project will also involve installation of about 3,000 feet of associated underground pipeline to connect Well F54A to the existing graded dirt road alignments and disturbed mining areas, avoiding disturbance of the Lytle Creek floodplain and reducing the overall length of the new pipeline from Well F54A to the FWC water distribution system. This is the second addendum prepared for this project and combined with the original initial study and final mitigated negative declaration package and first addendum, this document serves as the basis for this third tier environmental review of FWC's decision to replace inoperable Well F41A and connect it to the FWC distribution system. This addendum modifies the MND, adopted by the Department on December 22, 2010 and addendum No. 1 approved on February 1, 2012, as the CEQA environmental determination for the proposed implementation of the Well F54A project.
