- Note: Final 1 CD EMWD intends to construct and operate recycled water pump stations and associated force mains at its existing recycled water storage facilities at the San Jacinto Reservoir, Alessandro Ponds and Sun City Ponds. This project would allow EMWD to maximize the use of recycled water within its service area, to reduce the use of imported water (i.e., Colorado River and State Water Project), to reduce the use of groundwater in over drafted basins, and insure the reliability of agricultural and landscape irrigation supplies.
