Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), adopted an Addendum to the previous Negative Declaration and approved a Class 2 Permit Modification (Modification) for the Hazardous Waste Management Permit, pursuant to authority granted under California Health and Safety Code Chapter 6.5 and California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 20. The Veolia Class 2 Permit Modification will authorize the incorporation of a heat exchanger as a new Unit (Unit AA24). Unit AA24 will be staged next to the Frac bay (Unit AA4) to facilitate the unloading of viscous materials by heating process material/waste until the heated process material/waste is easily flowable and is then transferred to a permitted waste storage tank for treatment. Unit AA24 will be located within the Unit AB21 secondary containment. There would be no excavation, grading and/or ground disturbing activities for this Permit Modification.
