Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), adopted an Addendum to the previous Negative Declaration and approved a Class 1* Permit Modification (Modification) for the Hazardous Waste Management Permit, pursuant to authority granted under California Health and Safety Code Chapter 6.5 and California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 4.5, Chapter 20. The Veolia Class 1* Permit Modification will authorize the removal of existing coating/lining and apply Milamar Super Guard Chemical Resistant Coating System on the base of Unit AA8, Unit AA19, Shared Containment-A, Shared Containment-B, and Shared Containment-C. This coating and lining system is designed to enhance and extend the reliability, durability and longevity. The improvements on the coating/lining will aid reinforce the capabilities of the secondary containment systems. The Facility receives hazardous and non-hazardous waste from off-site sources for the purpose of processing, storage, treatment, recycling, and/or transfer.
