Document Description
Rehabilitate an existing 250 yard portion of an abandoned one mile long road sited within the sandhills habitat of H. Cowell Redwoods State Park to restore natural drainage and arrest sever erosion. Project will install approximately seven (7) buried checkdams, backfill, and recontour existing gullies and restore the natural topography of the project area. Additional work within the construction footprint will lop, remove; stockpile, and scatter vegetation over the project area and replant all disturbed areas with local native manzanita after the winter rains following project completion.
