Document Description
Department of Fish and Game acquisition of a conservation easement over approximately 880 acres for the purposes of protection of winter range habitat for the Sloat Deer Herd, protection of black oak woodland, montane riparian, wet meadow, and pasture. There are four California State Endangered or Threatened species confirmed within the boundaries of the Heart K Property. These include a large breeding colony of bank swallows, willow flycatcher, greater sandhill crane and bald eagle.
