Document Description
The Project consists of straightening approximately 60 feet of channel, and installing one (1) 48-inch diameter culvert, 60 feet in length. A new 30-foot wide, two-lane, paved road will be constructed. Three (3) pine trees (Pinus spp.) with 2 to 3 feet diameterat breast height (DBH), and three (3) oak trees (Quercus spp.) with 12-inches of 16-inches DBH will be removed. Just southe of the 60-foot culvert, one (1) existing 48-inch culvert will be removed from beneath an exisitng dirt roadway.
Approximately 40 feet of channel will be straightened. One (1) 40 -foot culvert, 40-inches in diameter, will be installed. A 24-foot wide dirt road will be constructed over the new culvert. Two (2) oak trees (Quercus spp.) with 14-inch DBH will be removed.

Reasons for Exemption
The Project involves replacement of an exisitng culvert and reconstruction of a dirt road. It also involves installation of a new culvert and construction of a new road. Teh new culverts will be located on the same site, will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the existing culvert, and will have no significant environmental impacts, with implementation of measures contained in SAA #2010-0089-R4.
