- This project will repair of a landslide that deposited approximately 30 yards of material down the bank of Herndon Creek. Soil will be removed from the creek bed and the bank will be stabilized. The work that will occur is: 1) Divert runoff away from the creek during repair activities to maintain water quality, 2) Seed and stabilize the bank with biodegradeable rolled erosion control blankets, 3) Line the disturbed areas of the creek bed with approximately 30 cubic yards of 4" to 12" rocks, and 4) Clean up any silt that has migrated down stream. Every effort shall be made to perform the repairs before the next substantial storm.
