Document Description
The project will fund the development of a pilot automated manufacturing line at an existing lithium-ion battery manufacturing facility that will be capable of producing 10,000 1 kWh lithium-ion modules for use in a wide variety of batter systems, including electric vehicles. The project will increase the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of these batteries, benefitting the pubic by promoting renewable energy, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, creating jobs, and decreasing reliance on petroleum fuels.
