Document Description
The project is limited to use of excavators parked on top of bank to remove woody vegetation from the area within 25 feet of the base of the dam in order to comply with FERC requirements for the structure. All work within the actual streambed will be done using hand crews. The vegetation will be uprooted and then removed from the site for disposal. The disturbed soils of the streambed will be re-compacted and erosion control BMPs put in place to prevent increased sediment load introduction into the waterway.
