Document Description
Reinforce approximately 150 feet of eroding stream bank using iron piles, cables, dead-men, imported cypress logs, native willow/alder cuttings and gravel. When used, heavy equipment will operate from the north bank and not operate within that portion of the river channel that is under water. Large rock rip-rap will not be used. In-stream water diversion will not be conducted.

The project involves reinforcing an eroding stream bank. The project will serve to stabilize the bank and reducing sediment input into the River. No significant vegetation will be removed or otherwise impacted by this project. There would be no significant adverse impact on endangered, rare or threatened species or their habitat pursuant to section 15065. The project will not result in impacts that are significant when viewed in connection with the effects of past projects, the effects of other current projects, and the effects of probable future projects.
