Document Description
El Dorado County Department of Transportation intends to replace a bridge previously washed out in 1986 on Wentworth Springs Road at Gerle Creek. The proposed project includes installation of a new 16 foot wide, prefabricated, steel-truss bridge immediately upstream of the existing low-water crossing through Gerle Creek on Wentworth Springs Road. The total Project area is 1.74 acre. The project will eliminate the existing low-water crossing by: (1) replacing a bridge previously destroyed by high flows of Gerle Creek and (2) eliminating vehicular access to the existing low-water crossing. A more detailed project description is in Section 3 of the IS/MND document.
