The Project is the acquisition by the Agency of 5,000 shares in the New Unit of the SWSD's groundwater banking program known as the Stored Water Recovery Unit. Currently, the Agency has approximately 36,000 af remaining in the Program but is a second priority partner and is only permitted recovery of its groundwater supplies if a first priority partner is not using its banking program recovery capacity.
