Document Description
EDA is planning to build a one-story 14,699 square-foot Child Development Center on approximately 1.5 acres in the unincorporated community of Rubidoux, in Riverside County, California. The facility would include outdoor play areas and a full-service kitchen. The facility will share 159 parking spaces with the Rubidoux Community Library though a reciprocal parking arrangement. The facility will include 8 classrooms with a licensed capacity of 192 children ages 3 months to 12 years (6th grade). Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in 2011. The project site is served by sanitation sewer and the water purveyor for the new facility is the Rubidoux Community Services District. Other utilities are provided by Southern California Edison and AT&T. A Water Quality Management Plan (WQMP) has been prepared for the facility.
