Document Description
The City of Highland has completed its Update to the General Plan Housing Element (Chapter 8) in accordance with the California Government Code Section 65585 and 65588. The proposed update (Amendments) represents a comprehensive update of the City's Housing Element (2006-2014 Planning Period) to bring it into compliance with State housing Law. On October 1, 2010, the California Department of Housing and Community Development conditionally approved the City's draft Housing Element. Due to significant revisions made to the Draft Housing Element since its initial circulation in 2009, a Recirculation of the Notice of Intent to Adopt a Negative Declaration was prepared in accordance with the California Code of Regulations Section 15073.5 (a).
