- Document Description
- The project is comprised of the construction, operation and maintenance of 968 square foot automatic self-service, coin operated carwash; expansion of an existing 2,521 square feet convenience store by 457 square feet and the sale of beer and wine for off-site consumption at the convenience store. The subject property is currently improved with an automotive fueling station, an auto lube bay and a fast food restaurant within the convenience store. The restaurant has an existing drive-through but will be removed to accommodate the carwash operation. The car wash facilities will include a 24 feet wide by 52 feet long driveway enclosed by a 14 feet high building adjacent to an existing one story stucco building. The fast food restaurant will also be removed to expand the convenience store. Twenty-four parking spaces currently exist to serve as required parking for the subject property. The applicant is proposing an on-site reclamation system that recycles approximately 90 percent of the wastewater generated by the carwash.
