Document Description
The Project is comprised of two actions: (1) the reconductoring of an existing power line system by rebuilding it as a double circuit line through the replacement of poles and towers and upgrading the substations and (2) constructing a new switching station to connect several transmission lines into a common bus. The two actions have overlapping work and impact areas, the areas of overlap totaling approximately 2.5 acres. Minor Amendment No. 3 will add installation of geofabric and rip-rap in three locations within the Project Area, creation of erosion rills filled with crushed rock or aggregate, and installation of barbed wire fence surrounding the switching station site to the Project Description.
