NOTE: Extended review The project consists of the construction of a parking structure and associated improvement within the Sabre Springs/Penasquitos Transit Center. The parking structure would be limited to four stories above existing grade and would be located in the southern portion of the transit center, adjacent to Carmel Mountain Express Drive and Sabre Springs Parkway. The new transit center would accommodate a minimum of 630 parking spaces in a combination of structure and surface parking. Circulation within the transit center would be revised to accommodate the new structure. Security lighting would be installed within the parking structure and maintained or replaced where appropriate to provide adequate lighting during morning and nighttime operating hours.
