At this time, two Build and one No Build Alternatives are being studied for this project. The proposed project is approximately three miles in length and the improvements include adding one dedicated HOV/BRT lane in each direction; and depending on the alternative, relocating left-hand connectors; modifying interchanges; and the removal, replacement and relocation of bridge overcrossings. Retaining/sound walls would also be added and new right-of-way (ROW) would be required. SR-94 crosses Chollas Creek and its associated drainages; drainage modifications within the creek would be required.
