Document Description
In-place shear testing on in situ bricks at eight locations of the masonary portion of the Alhecama Theater Building will be conducted. Project requires removal of two bricks and the head mortar of the adjacent brick to allow insertion of a small hydraulic ram to conduct the testing. Any bricks removed will be returned or if damaged, replaced using in-kind bricks and mortar. Work is undertaken to inform design of a future seismic retrofit and stabilization project.
