McCoy Parking Lot Project (10-11-SD-16)
NOE - Notice of Exemption
The project consists of constructing an area in the McCoy parking lot located in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park that will enclose the trash and green waste dumpsters, and provide storage of miscellaneous materials. The project includes removing a gate and 20' of fencing in the parking lot parallel to Calhoun St., in place of removed gate and fencing, 30' of 6' vinyl coated, 9 gauge core chain link fencing will be installed. There will be 11 each - 2'x3' excavations for fence posts (108 linear feet). The site has asphalt pavement, a tree that will remain, and existing fence/gate will be removed.
No potential for significant impacts to the environment is anticipated in compliance with Section 15300.2.
A resource ecologist will ensure avoidance of significant impacts to natural resources.
An archaeologist will ensure avoidance of significant impacts to cultural resources.
There will be negligible or no expansion of existing use (class 1).
New Structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the structure replaced (class 2).
