Document Description
This project consists of the installation of nine interpretive exhibit panel cases at various locations throughout Ocotillo Wells SVRA. The exhibit panel cases locations are: two at Shell Reef on Shell Reef Expressway, two at the Standard Oil Site on Cahuilla Trail, one at the Diamond Bar Site on the intersection of Gas Dome Trail and Cahuilla Trail, one at the Texaco Wells Site near Pole Line Road ad Cahuilla Trail, one at the Beal Well Site, one at the Imperial Well Site in the Artesian well Area on Gas Dome Trail and Cahuilla Trail, and one at the geothermal test well site. These Interpretive panels will educate park visitors on the historic oil explorations at Ocotillo wells SVRA. Each interpretive exhibit panel case will hold one interpretive panel and will be supported by two vertical panel supports. Each interpretive exhibit panel will be approximately 28" x 40". The supports will be approximately 40" apart and will be 36" in height from the ground. A total of 18 holes will be dug for the nine exhibit panels. Installation for each exhibit panel will require two holes, one for each leg. The holes will be 2' x 2' and 32" deep. Each exhibit panel will be secured in the ground using concrete.
