Document Description
The project will install a wildlife water trough to restore wetland habitat near the site of a natural spring. The trough will be 2 feet deep and 10 feet long, constructed of wood. The trough will be supported by rocks. The trough designs follow recommendations from Bat Conservation International, which is accessible to most bat species, birds, small mammals and is "wildlife friendly" with sloped sides and escape ramps. Water will be directed into the trough from an existing pvc pipe that carries water from the spring.
