Document Description
Rehabilitate Eagle Point Campground in Emerald Bay State Park to improve erosion control, provide improved access to campsites and lakeshore. Work will include: Excavate 2 feet in depth by 3 feet in width by various lengths and construct rock lined ditches along roadways and campsites to improve drainage and reduce sediment flow. Grade and repair existing approximately 2250' long x 10' wide fire road near site #84 to control erosion; install ADA compliant benches at overlook areas; replace all water bibbs with ADA water bibbs and provide access to water bibbs near existing ADA campsites #73A and 74A. Provide for stabilization and compaction of ground surface in campsites and stabilized erosion resistant paths of travel to facilities; install permanent BMP's where needed. Construct rock wall in campsite to control erosion due to topography. Construct sediment basins to control run off and erosion. .
