Document Description
The proposed Project would remove and replace a 1950s era concrete bridge deck, using newer and lighter weight concrete. Approximately 750 square feet of rusted steel bridge surface would be sandblasted and cleaned, and steel surfaces painted. Approximately 60 square feet of vegetation would be trimmed to gain access to bridge abutments. Willow trees and other vegetation in this area would be trimmed, but not removed. A scissor-lift would be used on the dry river bed to provide access to the lower surface of the bridge. Other equipment used will include a crane, hauling trucks, concrete trucks, and hand tools used to trim vegetation.
