Document Description
Mesa Court is an undergraduate residence facility on the UC Irvine campus comprised of 29 buildings grouped into Units. This project would renovate nine building in Unit 1 and four in Unit 2. The project would replace and/or repair the following building items: roofs, plumbing, electrical, and lighting systems, boiler and hot water equipment, the fire alarm system in Unit 1 buildings, and windows in Unit 2 buildings. The project would also install additional data outlets and new fire suppression systems. Project construction would occur during the summer month when the buildings are vacant (June through August of consecutive years 2011 and 20112) so that the updated residences are available to students in the fall.
