Document Description
The project will protect existing infrastructure by restoring the creek bank integrity in two separate locations - Stock Ranch at the east end of the pedestrian bridge, and 7684 Pratt Avenue. The Stock Ranch location will use large rip-rap and the Pratt Avenue location will use gabion baskets as the primary fix. The erosion at Stock Ranch near the pedestrian bridge is eroding the Stock Ranch Silt basin spillway and the bridge piers to the east of the creek. The project will use a combination of gabions and large rip-rap material to protect the banks and avoid failure of the pedestrian bridge and basin spillway. At the 7684 Pratt Avenue, has lost much of the existing concrete lined channel. The project will substitute gabion baskets for the concrete lining.
