Document Description
The project reestablishes a shaded fuelbreak along the southeastern boundary of Edgewood County Park and across the San Francisco PUC property at Canada Road. The fuelbreak occurs along a major PG&E transmission line. PG&E has planned tree trimming to occur prior to and in conjunction with this project. This project area is approximately 1 mile long by 100 feet wide with additional treatment to occur along the San Francisco PUC access road from Canada Road. Dead surface fuels will be removed, clumps of brush (mainly chemise and Manzanita) will be removed to reduce continuity, trees will be pruned to 10 feet and invading acacia trees will be removed.
