Document Description
The Project consists of excavating and grading approximately 10 cubic yards of substrate to extend an existing 18-inch diameter culvert approximately 8 feet to the east to permit Highway 41 roadway widening. Approximately 6 to 10 feet of the existing channel will be covered with a geotexile fabric (i.e., Pyramat) to reduce scour erosion and permit native plants to become established through the fabric. Potential runoff impact from the widened roadway will add five (5) percent to the current discharge through the existing culvert. No trees will be impacted during construction. Excavation, installation of the culvert, and grading of the slope will impact existing weedy vegetation in an area of approximately 12 feet wide by 12 feet long.
