Document Description
This project consists of repairs to the Guy Fleming trail located in Torrey Pines State Reserve. Proposed project would include; relocating an iconic tree snag that overhangs the trail (to allow materials and equipment access) and replacing an ill-functioning wooden retaining structure with small rock retaining wall. Retaining wall will be approximately 40' in length X 16" wide X 24" in depth. The footing trench will be approximately 12" wide X8" in depth. Wall will consist of dry-stacked (no mortar) rock. Rock style and material will match other recently renovated overlooks. The tree snag is naturally decaying and has less than 5 year lifespan before collapsing.
