Document Description
Update the existing Beach Range Road at Ford Ord Dunes State Park to improve visitor services and provide park information in safe, visible, accessible locations. Work will clear non-native vegetation from paved areas, seal approximately 4 miles of existing roadway; stripe roadway to formalize 6' wide bike lanes and 6' wide pedestrian lanes and install approximately six interpretive signs, approximately four directional signs, three picnic tables and two bicycle racks. Construct 6' wide ramp and remove existing pavement and replace with native soil to provide accessibility to existing exhibit shelter located at the day use parking area.
