Document Description
The project will fund the development of a plug-in hybrid electric technology for a Class 4-5 commercial fleet through a demonstration program of 378 vehicles. In addition to the project team and commercial fleet operators, this development and demonstration program will benefit the public by increasing the cost-effectiveness of plug-in hybrid electric trucks, decreasing the state's reliance on petroleum fuels, and decreasing the state's greenhouse gas emissions from motor vehicles.
