Document Description
DFG is intending to execute a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Padre Dam Municipal Water District. The applicant proposes to remove invasive non-native vegetation. The proposed program includes inspection of the stream at least twice a year for the purpose of identifying and removing invasive plant and tree species to allow recruitment of native species. Hand tools and herbicides will be used, and all work will occur outside bird breeding season. Native riparian habitats found on site include: southern sycamore alder riparian woodland.
