Document Description
The project involves the installation and operation of a landfill gas collection and control system, including a gas-to-energy component. The system will consist of gas extraction wells drilled into the waste pile of the landfill, and then connected via on-grade pipes to a blower and enclosed gas flare. The gas-to-energy component will consist of one or more landfill gas fueled internal combustion engines coupled with a generator. The system will also include electric poles and a transformer to transmit electricity to the interconnect point, and other similar accessory structures.
