- Document Description
- The Project would construct a new two-lane bridge with pedestrian walkway and demolish the existing bridge. The purpose of the Project is to improve the safety, connectivity, and reliability of the bridge for hikers, bikers, travelers, commuters, and freight carriers by replacing the current bridge structure, which suffers from critical issues associated with safety and structural integrity. The State Lands Commission action is termination of the existing Public Agency Lease No. PRC 7896 and Right-of-Way Map and approval of a Public Agency Permit and Right-of-Way Map for continuous use, plus 1 year, beginning February 23, 2021.
